Handling of Chevron Conveyor Belts
Even a short length of a light duty conveyor belt for a mobile conveyor can weigh easily a few hundred kilo. The profiles are hot vulcanized on the conveyor belt but should always be protected from sharp objects such as the tip from a fork lift. The best way to unwind a Chevron conveyor belt is to use a turning table, so damage of the profiles can be avoided as much as possible.
